Can you create a free gun too?

The game make me feel smart, the hand holding is minimum so I have to actually use my brain to figure out what is the next step to be taken. When it come to choose who the real murderer is, the answer is not always clear cut.

The combat is also fun. You can run and gun like a normal TPS, but the non-lethal approach again make me feel like a smart guy.

Jon and Young Sherlock dynamic is very fun. By the end of the game I actually grow to care for both of them.

Overall, I love everything about this game

If the pack is on sale, I truly recommend you get it. The job is worth the sale price

A review of Yakuza Like A Dragon from long time fan

Yakuza series (or Ryu Ga Gotoku) always have a soft spot in my heart. Through out 15 year I have tried to play every single installment, even if it Japanese only or PSP only.

When RGG Studio announce the game will be Turn Base, I understand their decision. They have worked on the beat em up genre for more than 10 years. They essentially feel burned out and want to try new stuff.

Eventhough the game is turned base, it beat em up DNA still shine through. The game reward you for making quick decision, attack have small QTE than you can do to increase damage and Ichiban can still pick up furniture as weapon and so on.

But Yakuza is not just the combat, Yakuza is the story, the minigame, the city, the world building, the character development. Even if the combat is not the same, Like A Dragon is still very much a Yakuza game.

If you hate, fine, it not my job to encourage you. If you curious about it, then I implored you to try. If you don't have the money, wait for a sale, because RGG Studio deserve every single Yen they got.

fun racing sim, especially since it is free, I think a lot of dislike come from the misunderstanding that since this is a free game, it aim toward arcade style racing, not realism
