Amazing example of how good fan projects can be. Short but sweet

First thing I'd like to note is that unless if you really can't wait to play this game, get it on sale. There's a lot of cool content here but not nearly enough for what they're expecting you to pay.

I haven't gotten to the final ending yet but I've experienced most of what the game has to offer, it's pretty solid. I ran into a bug a little early on but from what I can tell it was just a one time thing, otherwise the overall quality is quite good. I'm happy to say that the controls and physics are for the most part nice and accurate to the other classic games, seems like they nerfed the spindash quite a bit tho which sucks.

I bought the deluxe edition and ngl I'm regretting it a little bit, I'd definitely recommend just sticking with the standard version. tbf I should've expected this with how Sega has been managing Sonic DLC in the last few years.

Legitimately a really fun game despite the somewhat small set of characters and lack of voice actors.

The gameplay is really fast, smooth and satisfying. All the characters play different from each other and you can tell a lot of thought was put into creating their moves which is really nice to see.

Some of the maps that have rain or maybe too much going on seem to lag and drop frames when playing online but it’s very few, some maps aren’t very fun to play as well. Majority of the maps still play perfectly fine and are overall a good time.

The arcade mode seems very rushed, each campaign is very short and are all 1v1s and start out with a small bit of dialogue which I kind of get the vibe that some of them are bugged and play during the wrong fights. It’s still a decent way of passing the time and training yourself as each character.

My hopes for the future of this game would be the inclusion of more Nickelodeon characters like jimmy neutron and tak, also improvement to arcade mode and all around more polish would be nice.
