The Binding of Issac was my introduction to the rogue-like genre originally with the flash game all that time ago. Years later it is still one of my favourites with still not fully completing of collecting everything + the ability to mod for even more content. Fare warning if this is your first game like this, its going to be HARD with steep learning curve. But it gets easier the more you play and you learn more about the items over time or just use a guide like Platinum God or mods that give descriptions of what the items do.

Endless replayability with something different every single time 100% recommend picking this up and recommend getting all the DLC at once if you can.
