Hello there, This is my first review on a game on steam, but don't worry it's a good one (probally).

Ive played Junk jack (retro) since its relese on mobile ios and junk jack (X) on my phone for a long time, along with about 15 hours on steam, racking up to a rough estimation of 600 hours of play on all platforms (even android) sinse the release in 2011 . Sure there's not much of a fan-base round any more, only the die hard fans still exsist, and sure many people say sandbox games are dying, but my research says that so are battle royale games.

Junk jack is a sandbox game about mining, building, hunting for treasure, farming, fighting, and giving you nostagia.
The game is pretty well devloped with lots of content including like 10ish? planets, and mass amounts of collectibles featuring bootleg references to your favorite videogame characters, hence the nostagia, also the graphics are like going back to the 1980-90 and playing super mario bros.

I love the game for a number of reasons, all the friends i made, all the things i saw, all the collectibles i may or may not have duped on ios, all the machanics, graphics, music, etc. i never have gotten bored of the game and i always will have it on my iphone and on steam. it is its own game even if Minecraft was inspiration most likely, it STILL WAS FIRST to the app store. alas my rating is a... DRUM ROLL PLEASE!
