Nobody is working on this game, since 2017.
This title is a shame for valve, that fully captures their abilities or qualities.

𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐱 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 thank you :) :) .. Dead.. trash game with a very outdated anti cheat, which is no longer usable for current game requirements "2007 Anti-Cheat Valve (VAC)" is completely useless! After those beautiful fourteen years, an update would be useful!
conclusion .. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙞𝙨: 𝙐𝙉𝙋𝙇𝘼𝙔𝘼𝘽𝙇𝙀.

And a new "engine" is also needed. The optimization of the game is terrible. Constant graphical updates: skins, unusual effects .. and other graphical interface, it's getting worse and worse..

So it's still the same. Right now with all the bots the game is unplayable. 90% cheaters on both teams, no way to kick them. Fair players getting kicked 24\7 instead. The favorite game of my childhood became the most toxic trash i've ever witnessed. Valve Anti Cheat as if it had ceased to exist.
Rated 2,5/10 by me.

Valve are only interested on the profits, constantly adding expensive cases, hats, skins...
For example, try to compare playercount, comunity =/= supported by devs.
Next what has changed to cheaters/bots problems since between 2017 and 2021? Only f2p accounts are now muted they can't' use voice communication or write to the game chat or start votekick player and they cannot call for 'Medic' or other announcements, but the bots still can, so this is a very clever valve. Vac didn't get receive any new update.
Dont ever forget that a multi billion dollar company is behind this game.
Several times community was ready to release new big updates and bug fixes for the game, community did for free, dirty job valve! and attitude valve? response is none.

-Cactus Canyon two stages Payload map still in beta since 2014
-Iron Gauntlet update 2015
-Frontline update 2016
-The Mayann Project 2016
-Civilian class "still under development" since 2016
-"Keep party members on the same team Coming soon!" promised function since 2017
-The Engineer Buildings Pack 2017
Repair Node, Amplifier, Rayzar, Shield wall, Mi-ni dispenser/teleporter, Bear traps "the
Defensive Engie Pack", Artillery/LucyCharm Sentry
-simply the Heavy Weapons Guy update 2017
-restore function "Coaching" 2017
-restore function "Spectator team" 2017
-restore function "Reporting system" 2017 (instead of the promised repair, system has been disabled since 2017)
-Promised re - edition Arena Mode and their maps 2017
Watchtower, Lumberyard, Ravin, Offblast, Badlands, Granary, Nucleus, Sawmill and Well
-Promised repair Demos Replays support on each official servers 2017
-Promised fix for Woshop function menu load (custom maps/items) which has not worked for a few years 2017

-Source 2 port??? New anti-cheat??? 2020
-Valve promising to employ 10 active developers for tf2 2021-202? Current count is two
-Gabe Newell announced a major update after four years 2021-202? I'm still waiting
-and much more.. not even worth talking about this is just a list of major issues and promises
-Where the hell is the comic book sequel when part 7 will be completed?
