Unturned is not a good game, but it's pretty fun regardless.

It's pretty much the exact definition of a guilty pleasure; you know that the content you're receiving is pretty poor but you still find enjoyment in it. Personally I think one of the main things that makes Unturned a fun game is just how easy it is to get into; once you download the game and find a server to play on, chances are you'll understand a majority of the mechanics in the game or at the very least gather enough knowledge to survive. Being a simple, free-to-play game with very low system requirements, it's perfect to play with a group of mates, especially since it can get stale unless you're messing around with others.
The big pitfall of the game is how quickly it can become boring and repetitive, but like I mentioned, having some friends to play with extend the period in which you enjoy the game by a lot, so if you have some people to play with I'd recommend you at least try it out.

As a game I'd give it a 6/10, but as an experience solid 8/10 would accidentally shoot my friend again.
