No, just no. Crates get a pass in csgo simply because they are just mere skins. But having a game thats twice as expensive, has tons of paid dlcs already, and on top of that rng boxes with skins that boost stats ... thats a recipe for disaster right there.

You know, just having a 2 years old game priced at 20 euros, with another 27 euros worth of dlcs, thats still selling at decent rate, well that doesnt cut it anymore so they had to milk its playerbase a bit more.

Overkill obviously thought they could do a CSGO here, but they are yet to realize it works for CSGO becase its :

a) cheaper
b) has 9m active monthly users
c) skins add no stats whatsoever
d) well, its csgo.

tldr: greed took over, nothing new to see here.

Its ok :P
