Tbh I really only play any of the cods for the zombies mode, that being said this is probably one of the more solid ones out of the series. Like besides all the repeat zombie dlc packs they're all pretty good maps.
The modding community is also alive with new maps daily so that also definitely makes the game more replayable

Just play left 4 dead 1 or 2. I'm still in the process of finishing this game, but it's just, idk it has good ideas but the majority of my experience so far has been fairly lackluster. The campaigns are fairly bland and it feels pretty unfinished, with zombies you need to kill often despawning and softlocking the game, causing you to lose the run that you were attempting.
Speaking of zombies, they just feel like needless padding, the special infected have like three variants each, each variant though could rolled up into one zombie, as they're abilities are so similiar they don't necessitate the need for being a different enemy all together. Besides like four specials that actually have unique skills and present a new challenge. The rest are all ripped from left 4 dead, but they've been turned into annoyances to fight against.
All in all, it doesn't feel like a fun challenge to play this game, it feels like a crappy chore. Like having to clean out you're cats litterbox, all in all this doesn't deserve the title of being left 4 dead's spiritual successor. Here's hoping that valve see's this as competition and they actually pump out something good.
