DEMOCRACY HAS PREVAILED YET AGAIN

The state this game was released in is unacceptable, SO many collision bugs and ways to get softlocked it's insane, but even disregarding that I have a massive problem with the game as is. The movement mechanics are absolutely fantastic and the level design is too, but basic platforming feels insanely stiff and cumbersome given Penny controls like a TANK on foot. Couple this with not being able to CONTROL YOUR CAMERA and you have a recipe for some awful depth perception and outright leaps of faith. Bugs have gotta be fixed before I give this another shot, but even with them fixed it doesn't change the control and camera issues.

EDIT: Spamming clown awards because people are unhappy they paid for an unfinished product is peak shill behavior.

SEGA's handling of the DLC aside, this is one of the best games in the entire series and arguably tells RGG's best story. If you are a fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon you owe it to yourself to experience this from beginning to end.

Exclusively play Light with a sword and just grapple towards any player you see, I guarantee you'll make lots of friends

The absolute audacity to offer this for money and then have it not give you anything.

Quality game that is quick and easy to beat if you're there for the story, while still having the insane amount of side content Yakuza is known for that WILL consume 30-40 hours of your life if you let it. I haven't even finished Chapter 2 and I've been playing for 10 hours.

Game is good but jeez the performance is god awful, and the game's damage balancing is WACKY as sh*t. The first two difficulty slots are pathetically easy as expected, but while Amazing difficulty is pretty fair overall, there are some weirdly scattered encounters where you can get hit once and then not even be able to retaliate because of guns, rockets, whips, and basic punches all being thrown at you at the same time, resulting in a comically F*CKED amount of damage for what's described as the game's "normal mode". Also compared to the first game this story sucks major shaft.

Still a fun game but nowhere near as great as the first.
