This is just bad. If you came here for trading cards, get it; if not, leave. NOW. The sound mixing is awful. The controls are unresponsive. There is no way to tell what part of the scenery can be hit, and what can't. I still don't know which sprites are enemies and which are powerups. The interface is so bad. The buttons showing the controls stay at the bottom of the screen the entire game, and take up a 4th of the screen. There is little explanation to anything (maybe there was a tutorial I missed).

All in all, this is a terrible game and there are many, many much better free games elsewhere. Try Jetpack Joyride for iOS and Android if you really want a good game of this sort.

Update: A somewhat drab puzzle game with a fascinating facade. It's certainly entertaining, but doesn't always teach the player what possible routes can be taken to complete a puzzle, resulting in tedious trial and error until the puzzle is completed or the player gives up.

It is not worth full price, but it is novel for a few hours.

The most intruiging game I've played since Portal. It is also very frustrating. A must buy for those who enjoy puzzle games.

Update: Unless you are very bored, this game will not entertain. It does very little of interest and prefers to "go through the motions" in a way. I'd say play it if you want, don't if you don't. It's not special, but neither is it particularly bad.

It's definately worth playing, considering that it's free, but it's not something you should bother playing if you don't really care. It's the sort of game you play in a sitting. Dev Guy is nothing particularly special, but it is a fun game to go at on a lazy afternoon.

It's okay, but there isn't much there, in my opinion. The story is really charming, but bland. There is very little drama or substantial plot. Worth a few bucks, but it's kinda boring. It's really good at what does though, so if you enjoy cute graphic novels with little seriousness, then give it a go.

Also, the trading cards are awesome.

Update:
I have since playing found out that this is basically porn, which I didn't even know because I guess it takes like 12 hours to get to the porn. I regret ever playing it. Also, the value of the trading cards has drastically decreased.

It is not a game. The only reason this could be enjoyed is if the consumer needs some positive reinforcement but is too weak to go outside and dig a hole or whittle a stick.

Update 2: This game is very boring. It is fun for the first few sessions until you realize you've been grinding for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ items for 5 hours. There are some good things, and some bad things; everything else is so middle of the road and dull it's not worth mentioning (dungeons, enemies, combat, items, markets, etc)

Pros:
-Large environment
-Friendly players

Cons:
-Boring grindfest quests
-Boring fetch quests
-Boring or nonexistant NPC dialogue
-Adventures dampened by emptiness of all locations
-The game refuses to help you learn the game leaving you following the drab quests you have until you get stuck

Played this game for 24 hours in 48 hours.

10/10 would disown my family for strangers again.

Update 1: after getting some more time into the game, I found that I really don't enjoy this game as a fighting centered game. The combat is cool, but somewhat difficult to get a hang of. However, I do enjoy the atmosphere and and feel of living life in a fantasy world. This game, through the facade of anime-like characters and charm, has helped me overcome some of my real world inhibitions. A great game, if not: a great experience.

Update: So they completely changed the game now... It's no longer a representation of daily life for each age group, but their dreams and nightmares. Now with tedious puzzles.

Pros:
-Emotional(ish)

Cons:
-Predictable (middle aged people like money, old people fear death)
-Slow and tedious
-Really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gameplay
-Consistent screen tearing whenever there is motion

Review for pre-release version: It's uhhhh.. really boring? You walk around a bit, see some vaguely thought provoking things (let's face it, the ideas presented seem like they were developed by a 6 year old), and the game's over.
