Dragon's Dogma 2 is more of an iteration on the orginal rather than a new game, it plays better, looks better, the world is larger and more detailed and exploring it is a big part of the experience, most quests are an excuse to venture into the open world and engage with the enemies and world systems, the quests are better compared to DD1 but they are not so interesting as to be remembered as something more than an ordinary fetch quest. The gameplay is generally improved, the only downgrade is related to the number of skills you can use, I'd rather they kept the old 8 skills system and added to it the new class skills and change warrior from DD1 to match other classes in terms of skills. The performance is lack-luster mainly because of its so CPU heavy, hopefully it can be patched, but the game was still playable and enjoyable. Hopefully Capcom releases DLC similar to Bitterblack Isle as it was a big part of DD1's endgame and it feels like a proper endgame experience, outside of the Unmoored World is needed.

Elden Ring is the gift that keeps on giving, souls gameplay in an expansive open-world that is fun to explore, highly recommend getting all the achievements and exploring everything the game offers.

If you like monster hunter-style quests, Tales of Arise's combat and seeing damage numbers forever go up, get this! No gacha bs, no battle passes. Just fun combat with a great variety of characters with very different playstyles some more complex than others but all are viable. Cygames has announced there are more updates to come, primarily new characters, hopefully they announce new fights as well.

Amazing gunplay and content-rich updates. The Hunt Team always delivers with the new stuff they add with each event and the roadmap at time of writing includes exciting updates like the highly anticipated new map and engine update, the future of Hunt is everbright!
