I'm not gonna say Nosgoth is bad because they ended it, because it wasn't. Nosgoth is one of my favourite games and I'm very sad to see it gone, I am still annoyed though. I mean seriously, no wonder this game wasn't making money it had no marketing whatsoever and very few people actually knew it existed for ages. If they just told people it was there then I'm sure people would've liked it, It truly is an awesome game with a really cool twist on the average first person shooter game.

It has the humans which are your classic shooter classes with a sniper, grenade launcher, machine (gun) crossbow etc. The humans make it really easy for someone used to FPS games to get into the game. Then you have the vampires... whichare just awesome! I don't think I've ever seen anything like the vampires, they are so different to what you would expect a game like this to have. Vampires have no range, they have to get close and they are really what make this game special in my opinion. If both sides were human then this game would be just another addition to the countless shooting games out there but because vampires are so vastly different from the shooting genre it makes each and every match really interesting. The humans have to keep the vampires away from them and the vampires have to get close and kill as fast as possible.

Another thing I like about this game is that it makes it impossible to win without teamwork. It's designed so that in a 1v1 a vampire will most definitely win unless the human is exceptionally skilled but when all of the humans are togethor than they can easily match the entirety of the enemy team. This forces the humans to stay togethor in order to survive and in turn this forces the vampires to work togethor in order to break their defence.

I do like this game a lot but it does have it's floors. Of course there all the problems with matchmaking but it did have some problems in game play. I don't want to be too harsh but they never did nerf the deciever (spy class for vampire) He is impossible to see when invisible (considering that the human equivalents invisibility is **** compared to the decievers) and even though he is meant to be the weaker of the vampires he does like 10 less damage. To be honest though it didn't make a whole lot of difference to gameplay.

Nosgoth was an excellent game and thanx for killing it square-enix but I'm not gonna say it was bad because of that. I will miss shooting all those sentinels out the sky :'( Goodbye Nosgoth
