I'm a sucker for survival/crafting games that throw unique spins and twists on the classic formula. Abiotic Factor definitely fits in that group. A unique Half Life inspired setting, a fantastic level up system and a ton of detail in early access alone means im going to lose a lot of late nights to this

If i had a nickel for every time Prey was underappreciated and its developer was screwed over, Id have 2 nickels. Its not a lot, but its weird it happened twice

Besides the usual shenanigans that it takes in order to run the game, its still a fantastic experience that cannot be replicated ever again. Iconic game

A great, fun little horror experience with genuine scares and an interesting premise. If anyone has been wanting a new SlenderMan-type horror game recently this should fill the void with some genuine creative ideas of its own

So have finally wrapped up the first play through, I'm happy with the journey despite several aching flaws

It enjoys trolling you with bizarre mechanics and fights

And the story goes so off the rails near the end that I think we need to check for stashes of paint thinner and turpentine in the writers room

But still happy with it

It actually leaves me speechless how one can torpedo such an easy re release so badly. Its almost kind of an art form

Broken, busted, mangled
