i was pressured by a friend to play this game for over 2 years and when i finally got it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PLEASE PLAY THIS GAME OH MY GOD ITS SO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GOOD
hollow knight is legitimately one of the best games of all time
the music, the animation, the art, the story, the lore, the bosses, the ATMOSPHERE, the DESIGN, the COMBAT. i don't think i will play another game with better gameplay, ever.except maybe silksong. but we all know that's never coming out lol
this game is the complete package. yeah, it can be hard, sure. but PLEASE don't give up on this game because of it. the gameplay is so well designed that if you just hit your head against the wall for 3 hours and FINALLY beator perfect -- looking at you, radiant PK, i love you though --that boss, you're going to feel so amazing AND your skill is WAY better afterwards. the gameplay is just that intuitive.

anyway yeah go buy the game already please

I have one piece of advice for everyone who plays this masterpiece:

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT try to be a tryhard and be the most efficient efficianado out there. Don't. Seriously. Only do so if you have already played the game before and you understand what you're going into.

Don't do this because it's so stressful, it makes the game so much worse. Just play the game at your own pace. Don't look at the years or days and think you're going slowly. You're not. Keep going with your own pace. This game is meant to be played without doing any of what I'm saying not to do. It's meant to be enjoyed, not stressful.

Take that into consideration.

But, to say something about the game: It's amazing.
