Firstly I'd like to mention I'm only doing this review for my hour count, however, Risk of Rain 2 is a very captivating rouge-like with a lot of potential. The developers have done a great job so far in releasing regular content in accordance to their published roadmap, not only is it released in a timely manner, each update brings a bunch of cool new items, enemies and sometimes even a new character. The achievements are very satisfying to get (it's taken me many monsoon runs to get one bloody skin) leaving a player feeling very accomplished after hours of trial and error. Runs tend to take a while in Risk of Rain 2, but yet again the developers have thought up a clever way to help alleviate the fatigue some players might be experiencing, and this is the feature known as the Hidden Realm: Bazaar which stops the time when you reach it and there's one each stage.

Those are just a couple of positive things I had to say about the game, and yes I know there are a lot more good (and bad) mechanics in this game as well, but how can you not enjoy watching as your day disappears suddenly after playing 2-3 runs.
