It has served me in being an unparalleled medium for playing high-quality tunes and SFX over voice chat, and participating in a wide variety of nonsensical happenings I will never forget.

Now....take note, this review is from someone who was recommended this game, simply because it was free and was told it was decent. Now....as for the actual review:

Limbo is a game that will probably have others loving it, while others will hate it, give up, or have a mix of all of the above. But in any case, from my personal opinion, the biggest strength this game has is its atmosphere. It is somewhat of a horror game in the fact that there is so much morbid action that goes on in the first half of the game, but I won't spoil anything. Nonetheless, if you're scared easily, well....you'll be scared.

I've beaten this game, and I while I will applaud the cleverness of the puzzles, because of the morbid action, it's a bit of an acquired taste. And as such, I nearly stopped playing simply because I was getting impaled by the same spider more times than I'd like to admit.

However, I'm not one to shirk a game just because of gore, and so if you like a decent atmospheric, morbid, platformer game with little plot development or story behind it all besides the premise....Well, you've found the right game.
