An adorable and simple clicker game that I thoroughly enjoyed for 4 hours. :)

My biggest criticism has to due with Gater priorities. Being unable to force a Gater to do a task until it finishes really starts to be a pain when commute times are so long. A doctor going to eat instead of getting someone waiting to go on a mission back on their feet is annoying. Having to wait for an engineer take 4 sessions of crafting one piece of equipment is annoying. Soldiers not immediately going to their posts is annoying. Each instance alone isn't really that bad, but a big base can slow to a crawl given the perfect storm of people sleeping/eating. Defending against aliens is quite annoying as well. Doors have almost no health so they rush to your generators as opposed to fighting your soldiers. I feel like they shouldn't be able to open doors as well, so you don't have to manually lock them. Not being able to revisit planets makes the map feel quite small very quickly. Managing exosuits is the biggest pain. Instead of having a stockpile of suits for anyone to use you need to assign an individual suit locker to one person. This makes switching team composition tedious. Either assigning suits to a team or having a universal stockpile would completely solve this annoyance. I got more to say, but these are just what stood out to me.

A change in direction to holding planets against the alien threat would do the story and game play wonders instead of sitting there waiting to acquire enough materials to *win*. The gate feels more passive than anything. It's just something that's there that you sometimes send people to, but the real progress being made is in your base upgrades. Eventually the aliens attack you enough that you get a steady supply of patent theories that you don't even really need to explore. And since the patents don't seem to expire you accumulate a large amount of low paying patents that give you a steady cash flow (just like in real life wow!).

Seeing as this is their first game I believe they've done quite well. Especially for a mostly functional steam early access release. It's not even that bad either. While the negatives stand out it's still pretty okay.

Very cool game-play! I have performance issues on my laptop, but it isn't unbearable. I love the concept and can't wait to see where it's taken.

Watching Jacksepticeye play this game all those years ago is what put me on my journey of self discovery. After 5 years I finally accept myself for who I am. I owe a great deal of thanks to Accidental Queens. I am so glad I decided to pick it up and relieve all of those memories.

I flung open the air lock and all the drawers were pulled out. I then proceeded to open all of the canisters in the pod and promptly blew up. Class <3

Quite literally just finished my first ever freeplay of the game. I did the tutorial and the first mission of chapter 1 and got bored. Playing against AI sucks so far. Too much to manage all at once and fleet merging is kinda wonky so death stacks are hard to make. I think ships take just a little too long to make and star fortresses especially. I have enjoyed it so far. I greatly appreciate how quick it is. The game I played took just under 3 hours against 3 AI with default settings. Everything is very simple and easy to understand. It's a fun time if you're looking for a real quick 4x game.
