I'm using Windows 10 as well. The thing is, my Xbox One controller doesnt work, but my offbrand wired Xbox One controller does. I did get the Xbox One controller to work in big picture mode, but when I accidenlty disconected it, it stopped working.

I'm using Win10 tho. If that makes a difference I don't know.

Original which came with the Xbox itself :)

Strange. Do you have a basic xbox one controller or is it off brand?

Xbox one controller worked just fine.

Xbox One uses xInput. My own Xbox 360 controller worked fine on the same API, but you may need to go into options to fix it.

It really should work properly.

Try Joy2Key , it's a free program very small that allows you to easily assign keyboard and mouse presses to buttons on game controllers. I used to use it to play mario crossover with my 360 pads. (mario crossover was a flash based browser game combining many oldschool nes characters across games in the world of smb1 and it was very cool... imagine the contra guys and iirc the blaster master car [sophia] or megaman in smb1)

No, but it's working with my off brand xbox one controller, so I'm going to switch this to positive.
