I used to play Fifa games for the Ultimate Team but, as usual, it just seems to be a psychological game to frustrate you into gambling on Fifa Packs. In the past few years I've since moved back to career mode, a game that, in concept, should be really fun. Managing a team from the championship to the champions league, training players to be stars or playing as your own world class talent. However, in execution it's dreadfully boring and frustrating. Transfers don't make any sense, game results will have teams like Man City in 9th while Everton are winning the league, Quick Simming games are a complete toss up no matter how stacked your team is, gameplay is frustrating as the ai controlled players on your team will consistently make terrible decisions (especially defensively), Manager objectives will be nonsensical, and worst of all there seems to be no trend of improvement on previous titles. A $60 game (which thankfully I got on sale), could easily just be a roster update for Fifa 19 and most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
