If you're the player that loves storyline, a little of side quests and fighting bosses, then The Amazing Spider-Man™ is pretty much recommended for you. The graphics of the game is pretty pleasant, and the controls are easily manageable. That being said, if you're just looking for ONLY the storyline, then the game is pretty short-lived. Story can be completed in pretty a few hours, but to further enhance the gameplay, you can opt to complete every single side quest. To top it all, if you love Spider-Man as your Superhero, you will get to relive your childhood all over again.

Pros
- Comfortable gameplay. Nothing too confusing about it. Straight into story, and you need to weave around just to get back on track.
- Achievements are all within grasp. Slight grilling is needed.
- Little needs to be learn. Basically just moving around, jumping, and 3 more buttons for combat. No need to learn exemplary combos, memorize skills and sorts. Just upgrade Spider-Man, and click to fight.
- Storyline is simple, and chapters are replayable (This is perfect). In any case of missing out on anything, you're able to select the chapter again, and replay. Or you can just do it for fun.
- Spider-Man really feels like Spider-Man. Gesture, speech, action, they're all really fancy, just like the good old Spider-Man.

Cons
- Crashes every now and then. I don't know what causes it, but I see other reviews on that as well. Then again, the game saves every now and then, so even if it crashes out of a sudden, you would be able to continue near to where you last saw.
- Graphics are very very very randomly and rarely bugged. That being said, Spider-Man gets really fat at some particular angle. Walk 2 steps, and he returns to normal. Looks really funny.
- 3 difficulties: "Human", "Hero" and "Superhero". If you have selected "Human"(Easy) on your first game run, you wouldn't be able to change difficulty halfway, or keep that save file. Meaning to say, changing the difficulty overwrites the existing file, and you wouldn't be able to go back to play a particular chapter, in that difficulty.
- Might get a little giddy while moving around quickly. (Or maybe it's just me)
- Fight scenes, and skills are pretty much the same. You either spin a web to hold him or beat him unconscious to end the fight. Then again, it's a kids game. Including blood wouldn't be the beneficial.

On the overall, the game is pretty good though it's slightly bugged. Would recommend to get it if you're a Spidey lover, and when it's on sale. 50% is still acceptable. Don't expect the game to be really amazing, it really wouldn't badly disappoint. Some obtainables were hard to find, and you would find yourself searching on the internet for it. Sure you would get annoyed at some point, but what's an achievement if you didn't do much to achieve it?

On a scale of 1-10, I would probably give it 8/10 (: Lack of game stability, but it was really fun to play! Interested buyers should read up on it more, and watch videos to see its actual gameplay. Enjoy!
