It's weirdly addictive, the scientist is my fav unlocked so far.

I enjoy completing sudo-challenge runs using the Achievements as a guide (E.G Only using the cutting board, no appliances)

Honestly, I'm enjoying it so far. It's simply, cutesy and mildly stressful when your friend won't stop tiktok dancing and calling a billion hippos that eat all of your cheese >:(

Some things I would like to see in future updates:
* Achievements. Pretty please. I love achievements
* Online co-op - I'm Australian, our NBN does not mesh well with remote play games
* The level up system could use work - especially in the beginning, having to lose to maybe get an upgrade when you have such limited options is kinda draining
* Map size options, so players know what they're getting into

All in all, I picked up two copies while it was on sale and I don't regret it. I would say its worth it even at full price, being only $15AUD. I was hesitant due to there being no reviews, no discussions, no updates, no dev comments.

But hey. I'll get my $15 of fun even if its abandonware

Got this from the Jingle Jam and tried it with a friend.

The puzzles were easy, but the game itself wasn't great. The method of asking questions felt limited, obvious issues (I.E, why tf is there sleeping drugs yet I can't question the butcher about it?)
It was also buggy - my co-op partner got locked out in the tutorial and couldn't pickup the package. I was black screened during the tutorial and couldn't hand in the package.
Chapter one wasn't exactly good? The writing was pretty bland, the characters just...existed without feeling fleshed out. The 'jokes' were...well, they were there.

The DLC pricing is insane. $10AUD per extra chapter for a $7.50AUD game? It's truly not worth it. I would have rather paid full price for a full game then this DLC bullcrap.

I like the idea of it, but the UI is non-existant in terms of any information for your items.
How to gain new furnaces / producers isn't well explained (if at all)

And there's no achievements :(

At the moment, I'm just disappointed.

The controls feel awkward, and there feels like mouse acceleration is on but theres no settings to remove it.

The animations leave a lot to be desired - Horses on leads stop awkwardly at random points before starting the walk cycle over again being the biggest once I've noticed.
If a horse rejects a jump, there isn't a head shake, rear back or even audio queue. It just fades to black and puts you a few meters away from the jump.

At this stage, I would wait for another few big updates before jumping into the fray. It has a lot of potential but needs a lot of polish

UPDATE - As of the first big update, it finally feels like a meaty game worth the price tag. I had a lot of fun trying to figure out the devil levels :)

Its fun, very cute and the artstyle is adorable!

But its way, way too short for the price (as others have pointed out) even on sale.

This game would really benefit from player submitted puzzles. A "choose your own story" mode with all the locations and characters would be nice too

I really, really, REALLY want to love this game.
But until the issue where opening the map / moving between areas lowers you to 2FPS and tries to crash the game is resolved, its unplayable.

This issue doesn't effect me, but does effect my friend I co-op with. It gets progressively worse the longer you play - no response from devs on discord or in discussions so I'm not sure on the resolve time line

The picross puzzles are uninspiring and just bland.

The difficulty random spikes between 5x5's to 15x15, and just when you think 'finally, a worthwhile puzzle' you're back down to 5x5's for...reasons.

The writing is very, very subpar. I found the story (at least in 'episode' one) fairly boring.
The scanning system is lazy. You don't actually "scan" anything. Most of the time you're scanning an empty spot on the floor, only to apparently find very important evidence what was...invisible for some reason.
Settings didn't seem to work for me - Muting the music did nothing, it keeps blasting at full volume.

I *might* finish it, but only because I got it through a HumbleBundle. Otherwise I wouldn't bother continuing
