I really used to enjoy Paladins because there were specific characters that could mix up opponents by having unintentional play styles. I had a group of 3-5 characters that I had designed builds for that were really fun, and since then, all of the conditions to have those play styles have been reworked so that they are unplayable. I think a new player could enjoy the hell out of paladins due to all the new characters though.
