It took me a little over 2 years for me to beat Elden Ring picking it up and putting it down when I would feel some burnout. As someone who naturally explores as much as they can I found that the game was full of surprises and would give you a whole arsenal of "tools" that you could use whenever you got stuck. It's one of those games that doesn't require you to explore but definitely rewards it if you do. The bosses felt fair and each time you die you felt like you were "downloading" their move set and getting better. With the ability to make the game as easy or hard as you want by using a plethora of different items, summons, and weapons it feels like it has a lot of repeatability which is something I'd want from a game that makes you want to stay in its world. Overall I'd say it was a great game and is definitely worth the challenge if you want to pick it up. I'm excited for the DLC and what that has to bring but for now I'll leave you with a rating of 9/10
