You can get finish the game in less than or around an hour. And when you finish, the game closes itself for you, that's pretty thoughtful :)

Disclaimer: this is the first “professional-like” review that I wrote. If you would like to, share me your opinions and criticism. There are some things that I have left out in the review based on the belief that they would spoil the players’ experience.

Story
Set inside a Swedish fairy tale, the basic plot of the game focuses on two brothers set on journey to find medicine for their ill father. Throughout the journey, they will come across many obstacles and meet many new friends.

This was a pretty good story, I wouldn’t call it a great story, but it is good enough to keep you playing until the end.

Gameplay
The gameplay you’ll mostly experience is an adventure game with puzzle-platform elements. When progressing through the story and solving puzzles, you’ll notice that each brother has their own strengths and weaknesses. The big brother is quite strong and is able to lift up many things including his little brother. Though because of his big size, he isn’t able to squeeze through small spaces, where his little brother can. What both brothers can do is jump the same height. These are some of the characteristics that each brother have, gameplay-wise.

With the belief that this is an adventure game, this has pretty good exploration content. Basically, if you come across something that looks like you can interact with, you more than likely can. If you find an animal, pet it, you find a house with a door, knock on it, you see a bench, sit on it. What can make these interactions unique is that each brother can have different interactions with these NPCs or objects.

Sound
For voice acting, the majority of the voices are in Swedish and there are no options for subtitles. Though you don’t really need to know what the characters are saying, you get a pretty good idea of what they are talking about through hand gestures and how they interact with each other. The voices are able to be interpreted to determine the character’s emotions which helps set the mood for the scene.

For background noises, these both help create the atmosphere that you are in, as well as sometimes give you an idea of what to expect in an upcoming area.

For the OST, this as well helps out the atmosphere an area is trying to create. This also gives you the feeling of being in a Swedish fairy tale with the music tying into the setting.

Controls
Disclaimer #2: the majority of the game was played using an Xbox controller with some time on the keyboard. I have no experience using a Playstation controller.

The basic controls of the game are using the two joysticks to control each of the brothers (if you are using a keyboard, wasd controls the big brother, and the arrow keys control the little brother), the trigger buttons on either side for each brother to interact with the environment (space and right Ctrl) and the right and left bumpers to change the camera view (right and left shift).

The notice in the store page is there for a reason, if you have a controller to play with, use a controller. Even so, when controlling the brothers can get confusing at times. Other games played with a controller follow a pretty common mechanic, based off of those games, the controls for this game gives a new experience with how to use a controller. It’s pretty much like you are trying to play with two separate brains each focusing on one of the brothers. Even though this style of gameplay is uncommon, it may be easy to catch on with the controls, then again you may not.

It is possible to play on keyboard, but it is a lot easier to use a controller if you can. Controlling the big brother may seem natural. But controlling the little brother, along with controlling the other one, would be a little bit more difficult because your hand placement with the arrow keys along with right Ctrl is pretty weird. To guarantee progression in the game, it may be better moving one brother at a time, which would result in slower gameplay progression.

Graphics
Let me start by saying that the graphics are AMAZING. It’s no high end visuals AAA games usually have but it has an amazing art style to give off a sense of appeal.

The world is extremely colorful and immersive. If you are a screenshot lover, expect to take lots of them since the game offers lots of picture perfect moments. Personally I have over 20 screenshots in this game, which is the most I’ve taken in any of the games I’ve owned. Even if you may have lots of screenshots in the game, you’ll have a lot more visual stunning experiences compared to how many pictures you may take.

For character design, they each have style and characteristics, though I wish there was a lot more details in their features. Though compared to how much detail is in the world, it’s understandable how much less features the characters have.

tl;dr
To sum it all up, this game has a good story, decent controls, and amazing graphics. I enjoyed myself with this game and you would too. A must buy, even for full price.

**Disclaimer**
I'm not talking negatively towards th game in general, but am rather redirecting the consumer to another direction.

I may be a little too late into writing this review, seeing the number of people who spent hundreds of hours playing this game. Nevertheless, I shall write this review.

First off, I would like to point towards my ten hours I've spent on this game. Ten, wasted hours that I could have spent playing Borderlands 2 or counter-strike, or any other game that I spent actual money for (because i have those). Don't get me wrong, this is a good game, but it feels so out of place on pc.

**IMPORTANT (this is the consumer redirection part I talked about earlier)**
Throughout the ten hours I had this game up on my desktop, I kept thinking "This game plays just like a phone game" BECAUSE IT DOES!! And believe it or not, there actually is a Clicker Heroes for IOS and Android, which I personally enjoy. It takes up less of my time while getting me further into the game than I did on desktop. And I can exit out of the game without it having to warn me to save my progress onto my files.

So if you're reading this review (which I don't see how an Elvis Cyndaquil couldn't have attracted you into reading this), don't download this for desktop, but instead on your phone.

If you already have it on desktop, delete it because you've fallen into a trap, and get i on your phone. If this is the only game in your steam library, than get more free games on steam you cheap bastard. (and get it on your phone)

note: If you are an acheivement hunter, trust me, this game is not worth.

Oh, almost forgot, this is a steam review so,
10/10, would get on your phone again

If you have 50 cents to spend on a game during the weeklong sale, I would get this. It's a nice, casual game to play when you just want to relax, and it's easy to get into. the only complaint I have is it's a little tiring on the eyes, but that's probably to jsut remind you to get off after an hour long session. But like I said, a nice game when you're relaxing.
