This game still makes by dysfunctional penile device hard after all this time

Everytime the chickens move close to the bottom of the screen or suckerpunch you from one of the corners I really want to punch through my monitor.

One day Edmund tought by himself: "I like steroids. Maybe I should inject some of these steroids in one of my games?''. This was the moment that The binding of Isaac: Rebirth was born. As a remake of the original Binding of Isaac, it includes all the features we know and love from the base game and the Wrath of the Lamb DLC and makes them more up-to-date. With this remake also came some huge engine improvements such as allowing for 60 frames per second, improved physics and the ability to use a controller. It also heavily relies on the integrated Steam Achievements system to track in-game progress. Because it's a remake many thing that can be said about the original Binding of isaac can be said about Rebirth aswel such as the difficulty and -sometimes- unfair rng.
This makes the game all about risk minimization and sleak dodging. If you like the original Binding of Isaac or just any Top-Down Rogue-Like games than this game is right up your alley. Even tho it's a tad more expensive than it's older brothers.
