When the game first came out it blew everyone away with it's unique and beautiful style, solid rhythm-based gameplay, well-written story and, of course, wonderful soundtrack. Everyone pretty much was shouting that it deserves at least a GOTY nomination with how well it was made and willing to literally throw money at the developers. Hell, it instantly became one of my favourite games of all time since in a way it's like a combination of Scott Pilgrim's style and Baby Driver's use of music which are both one of my favourtie franchises and movies respectfully. Yet it was never nominated for GOTY unlike Phantom Liberty, an EXPANSION to Cyberpunk 2077, not even a full game, Genshin Impact which didn't even come out in 2023, and Spider-Man 2 with its attrocious story IMHO. And now Tango Gameworks has been shut down for no reason other than "optimising staff". This game and its developers deserved so much better than this, but I'm glad that they at least made a good impact on the gaming industry before being unjustly thrown away. Thank you, Tango Gameworks, for bringing out nothing but bangers for as long as you were around. And a huge F@#K YOU to Microsoft for having your head way too far up your own @$$ to realise how special a thing you had on your hands. As for everyone else who passed on the game so far and/or wondering if it's worth it - trust me, it is absolutely worth its money and your time.

Simple game of Tetris in a Steampunk aesthetic, nothing groundbreaking. Looks great, controls well, and I especially love the music (though it could use a few more tracks). The way pieces spawn feels a little unfair sometimes, like getting 3-4 of the same piece in a row, but I guess the RNGesus is the only one to blame in this case. As a Steampunk fan, it was a must-have for me, and for a modest price I was not disappointed. Don't know if the developers still read these or even support this game, but if they could add and implement well the ability to hold back and bring out a piece like even in the official Tetris games it will be perfect.
