this game is kind of my guilty pleasure because usually i hate anything even remotely related to sonic

gameplay is quick and enjoyable, you don't get stuck at one place for long.
characters are tolerable. cutscenes are a bit too long in my opinion
still don't know why they went for a chinese setting though. feels out of place.
