As a kid, I had a tradition where I played though this game every winter. My old PC, the one I shared with two sisters, turned into a magical wardrobe, witches and sphinxes included. Though it, I would find this cozy-est book, this world of unending secrets . In Academagia, you were a secretive student learning taboo magics in libraries long buried in dust, a dashing pirate dodging classes and facing beasts, or a socialite noble scion making connections for some future coup... until you had to let your sister have her important Skype meeting with the school friends she just parted with.

It's interesting rediscovering Academagia as an adult. Some of the flaws are more obvious, the UI being the glaring one, but the charm is still there if you still have that kid inside, the one that was willing to dream and explore and get lost.

Short but sweet!!!

It has nice environments, funny dialogue, well made combat, diverse paths and an all around interesting universe. Nice moding community. Well worth the money.Only con is it chooses to stay in combat once you enter it making players waist time moving through areas.

Best F2P game on the market. With enough community content to keep you playing for days.
