It is a good game, don't get me wrong. It allows players to have fun using their favourite dragonball characters from a wide variety of characters(including all the dlc) in its own unique fighting system which resembles the fights seen in the series (flying during the fight, fighting while being on the air, change of the appearance of the characters depending on the damage they have taken). BUT. It offers a not so good dragonball story and repeats plot points from the first game. The parallel quests are almost identical to the ones from the first game and they are kind of boring if you have played the first game. Plus, it is so difficult to level up compared to the first game and sometimes it is frustrating to not be able to complete some quests that were on the first game because of the leveling system.

It also offers a new minigame with the battle figures which in my opinion is very entertaining and i recommend everyone to give it a go. It does offer a new feeling to the game and thank god it isn't something you can complete in a few hours. But leveling up is also difficult and discouraging. Plus, it is also difficult to get good battle figures so you can stand a chance in battle.
