I will be honest. I really wanted to enjoy this game, but there were some really key points that really just ruined my whole experience of this game. However, I will start by explaining what I really enjoyed about this game.

First of all, this game's atmosphere was amazing. It was really fun to explore through the dystopian remains of the tower. Moving through the labs with a copious amount of test tubes and engine rooms with huge fans was so interesting which leads to my next point, the level design. The level design really complements the atmosphere well. Using the fans is the best example. They were used to either block a path or push you to another. It was fun to use your abilities to get through the crazy level design. Another thing I hear people complain about is the enemies, which to be honest, I don't understand. Yes, each enemy by themselves don't stand a chance against the main character and are pretty simple to fight, but when you have three across the room from each other, it is like a puzzle and you have to quickly formulate a plan to dispatch of them quickly. That was the main reason I kept playing the game. My last favorite part was how good the game looked (for the most part). The different swords look so cool and overall the graphics of the game were pretty gorgeous.

Now for the part of the game that ruined my experience. First and main point, the controls and this is gonna be a long one. I will start with the problem that the game will just not do some of my inputs sometimes, I don't know why this happens but I would get so upset when I would almost be done with a level and I wouldn't grapple or my dude wouldn't run on the wall. It would completely ruin some levels for me. But the game wouldn't just stop my own inputs from happening, it would cause me to do thing to do things that I wouldn't want to do. For example, I will be running on the wall and for some reason my dude just grabs onto the wall and climbs on top of the wall and I fall to my death. It was just little things that really made the movement feel so strict and clunky. I feel like the hit boxes need to be fixed so big accidents like this don't happen anymore. Another thing about the movement, I feel like the games needs to implement two things that will make the movement top tier. First, the game needs a double jump. I feel like a double jump could really make the combat a lot more interesting and with a double jump you could've made a lot more interesting parkour sections in the game. The other thing that the game needs to put in the game is the ability to change the direction of the dash in the air. For some reason, you can't change the direction of the dash in the air. Why not? You can do it on the ground. I just feel like you can do a lot more interesting things with combat if I can jump and dodge to the left or right in the air, but I can see how changing the direction of the dodge in the air can affect with the whole slow down time thing in the air and if that is the case then maybe just leave it out. The boss battles. I am including Hel in this part. Hel, Mara, and the Final Boss fights took everything interesting of fight normal enemies and got rid of it. The Hel fight was so bad. The input lag really showed here. Missing one parry completely reset the set of parries you need to do. The fight was very monotonous and boring. Also, I don't know what it was but the character model of Hel seems off with the way she moves, but in a section where the camera lock your view on her up close, I feel like the animators should've worked a bit harder here. Honestly, the character of Hel is a fresh part of the story but that fight should've never been put in the game. The Mara fight was a bit more bearable than the Hel fight. However, the Mara fight is really simple and has the case of Legend of Zelda boss fight. Do something three times in a row and then attack. Other than that, I don't have much issues with the Mara fight. Just boring. The Final Boss fight I really struggled with because of the input lag. For some reason, my character wouldn't jump off the wall I was running on and it made it really hard for no reason, but with that being said I still felt really cool and interested to get past it. But the red ball section was really hard for me and I don't know why. I legit closed the game after some time because I just couldn't beat it. But I did come back and completed it. The rest of the fight was just kind of the same thing so I beat it shortly after. But the Final boss fight wasn't really a fight but I liked it because the game was kind of showing you the progress of how well you were at the movement. I just wished the Mara fight showed you how good you were at fighting. Like throw some parries in there or something lmao. Lastly the last point of what made me dislike this game, the story. It isn't particularly bad. You can just predict it really early on. I am not going to spoil anything but I will say in the first 30 min to hour you will know where the story is going and just slowly watch it unfold. I thought it would've been more interesting if you could taken different paths. Besides that, story is good just saw it coming.

With all that being said, this was made by a indie developer and if this is one of their first games, it is very good. I would say a few steps away from being an amazing game. We will watch your career with great interest. Keep trying your best. Overall, I say this game is a 6 out of 10 but with a few changes to the movement and boss fights, it could've easily been an 8 or 9 out of 10.

Frickin cool game, I love the gameplay and story, the oldness of the game even tho it is remastered is a little annoying still, but it doesn't take away from the game at all

Not a good/finished game, don't spend money on it until it is fixed, otherwise fun

There is no doubt in my mind that this game is full with a lot of replaying ability and is a lot of fun. I have been playing this game for almost four years with 2100 hours (87 days) into it and I still love it. But lately, I feel like I have done everything I wanna do in it, so it feels like I am done with it. Most of my friends are rarely playing it anymore and completely given up the game for other games. So, game sux! I am just kidding. This game has a lot of character and a lot of thigns to do in it. One thing is for sure about it, it is one of my favorite games and it will always be in my favorite games list. It is one of the only games that I put so much time on. 8/10 Doesn't release anymore new weapons, only hats and reskins.

Early Access Review
Alright game, confusing controls, most ideas are inspired by smash bros, and I get mad because I am bad at the game. I recomend it!

Better, older version of Desnity. A lot of fun with people of high levels but there is still enjoyment in playing it by yourself.( B.T.W. Big grinding simulator)
