currently the dev server is ran in my house. its not password protected because nobody can actually connect to it without being in my house. I don't plan to open the dev server publicly. Besides I need a isolated environment for some things.

As for VWB and bullet spread could you elaborate on what you mean exactly? because weapon spread is determined by the sweps config variables.
