Boy, I sure do love getting sub 60 fps in a city with a 10900k and 4080, how is the AAA industry failing this hard.

Not sure if my copy is bugged but rolling against a certain boss does not work, at all, even used CE to slow the game down to try different timings. bugged me enough that I'm not going to play it again. That was the straw that broke the camels back, the game feels fairly mediocre overall. great art style, but the gameplay department is a slog, and that's coming from a dude with 5 digit hours in Dark Souls on the Playstation.

Shadow tower was my ♥♥♥♥ as a kid, this is about as close as we're gonna get nowadays.

This game is utter trash, I actually have never seen a first person shooter this bad ever. Trying to shoot while moving even while ADS is laughable, not to mention the fact that fanning the hammer is somehow more accurate than just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shooting regularly while moving. Spawns are attrocious, and in just one game I had probably 10 people spawn behind me as well as me spawning behind people on numerous occasions. I have no idea how this "game" has a positive overall score.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this game, it's a cacophany of garbage that really just has no good words to describe it. IT constantly freezes at the match end screen if you're the host of the match, has a ridiculously bad p2p connection that requires constant resyncing because it has such a small playerbase that you're going to be playing with people outside of your region, and there is absolutely 0 character balance, the main game heroes are by and far overshadowed by the DLC heroes to the point that there's absolutely no point to not play the DLC characters. If at some point ubi fixes literally any of this game's issues, I may change my review, but after 800+ hours, I absolutely must say nobody should buy this rancid pile of garbage.

"Arma's damage," I don't remember needing to shoot anyone 8 times with a Tavor in Arma. Bad review until they sort out corpses, hit reg, and damage models.

One of the best throwbacks I've ever played, for an 8bit, over-the-top, slasher/shooter it has all the elements you could ever want from a game: Fun, responsive gameplay, a pacing that nearly never slows down, very unforgiving of mistakes, and actually has a decent story. If you want a challenge, play this.
