I liked this game and the idea of it's unique selling point and decided to give it a shot. I certianly enjoyed playing this game but I felt that it peaked at Sayori's death as the way it was presented was a pleasant shock and a frank change from dating sim to a horror game as I really expected it to slowly bleed into the latter style. But after this feat the game had a hard time standing up to it's own acompishments meaning that everything after this felt drab in comparison, and with that the game tailed to an end with Monika blatantly telling you how to delete her. I would have prefered some ingenuity from the player to figure out how to 'win' the game after perhaps being nudged in the right direction, but I guess this route works for everyone, including those that might not be familiar with their way around the steam file explorer.

Despite all that I do feel that DDLC is well worth a play as I certianly enojyed my time playing it and the challange that was attaining the true ending.

I would rate this game at a 7.5/10 for:

• Great shock factor, even if you know what's coming
  
• Detailed characters with real problems
  
• Underwhelming plot overall
