A fun game, still in development (Early Access). You have to control the evolution of the Plague by spending skill points in detailed skill trees. The type of Plagues available to you get unlocked as you progress through the game, you start with only Bacteria available, you will go on to unlock Virus, Fungus, Parasite, Neurax Worm, Prion, Nano-Virus & Bio Weapon. These different Plague types will have either minor or major variations in the evolutions available to you, making for more interesting gameplay! Each game mode is unique in its own way, the different Plagues all seem to have game mechanics independant of each other.

When you beat a level you will unlock different Gene structures, which allow you to get slight boosts or powerups in your future games, these are not needed for the normal difficulty, but can make Brutal or Mega Brutal difficulty go much smoother! There will be more Gene types to come, as this is early access, I have all Gene types unlocked (25/25), but it says that I am only at 83% on Genes unlocked, so we can expect to see more in this department.

Overall the gameplay is fun & challenging. I would definitely say this is in the survival genre with a dash of world domination. If you try it out, you may enjoy it!
