This game is absolutely phenomenal. The combat is engaging, controller support is smooth and fluid, mechanics are easy to pick up and fun to master... Movement flows so well; every attack feels good and hits and sweet spots have satisfying feedback.

There's a huge amount of variety in each weapon, every one feeling utterly unique and powerful in its own right; I genuinely can't decide which feels most powerful as every single one, I've had runs with them that feel amazing and clean and STRONG.

Enemy variety is vast, there's all kinds of different challenges to overcome; though I definitely can't wait for that to be fleshed out even more.

Upgrades feel extremely impactful, and there's such a variety of them that you can so easily mix and match across the various types or simply go mono-color and be extremely good at one thing.

All the masks give some interesting mechanical changes, in particular the water; being able to wavedash that fast feels broken in a way thats fun and clearly intentional.

I genuinely cannot recommend this game enough if you enjoy platform fighters; it's absolutely sucked me in and I can't get enough of it. They're still constantly updating it, too, with a reasonable road map and actually committing hard to it (unlike so many triple a titles in recent years).
