In one sentence: very funny with reasonable albeit unspectacular gameplay, but definitely worth it for such a low price.

As might be clear from the premise, this is not a game which takes itself seriously at all - and that is really its strongest point. The game is consistently silly in everthing from the dialogue to the enemy descriptions, and most of the jokes hit the target. Both the art style and the gameplay are very reminiscent of the old style of RPGs (think Dragon Quest, or the first few Final Fantasy games) of which the game is an affectionate parody. This does of course mean that the game does contain some of the flaws of these games - for example that combat can become rather repetitive - although it takes some steps to partially mitigate this, for instance making battles in each area optional after a certain number have been completed.

If I hade to rate the aspects of this game:

Gameplay - 7/10
Story - 7.5/10
Humour - 8.5/10
Value for money - 15/10
Madness - Cthulhu Fhtagn/10

If you like retro style RPGs, lovecraft, and having a sense of humour, this game is - insanely - good for its price.
