So ive not bought the second game, but ive got the first. let me tell you how this game will save you in airports, low internet places like cafes. This game has a charm too it that most games ives seen dont bring. Risk of rain can be downloaded and actually be such a small space on your laptop or computer. For anyone in college space on our disk top can be harmful to have a huge amount of space on. Plus where ever you might be this game is mainly good for laptops since your able to play it anywhere. On computers i don't see anyone would play this. I've got so much entertainment form this game, this game play can be done under an hour, form the controls can make it harder for you too learn but after learning how to use the controls its important for you too beat this game. In most games skill matters this game makes you learn skill. Form different characters with different skills too characters different movements this game gives you this feeling of gained skill. Mainly controls are the arrow keys but can be changed to your liking. Most wasd controlled games require you too play with those's control, in Risk of rain you can change the control and change the way you play. This game has good level of skill i would say time is the key to beating ror which the game just gets hard and harder which means more moving around killing flows with kung fu like movements. And the characters have skills which makes you have to learn new Kung Fu moves, even when youve done the moves you learn theres more moves too see or do. Like i said this game is done in a hour but you feel like going back to the first level and replaying the game with all your levels and items, i would say items are actually okay since most of them give you mostly attack damage. But when your a hour glass you can beat the game with flying jet packs or 5 jumps. Monsters made to teach you how to move and play with charaters with different movements. Monsters that are after once you beat the second to last level you can easily die since whatevere items youve got you need kung fu mvoements. in ror 2 it seems like there just better at making this charm in 3d. but at the same time it looks less kung fu moves. 10 out of 11
