Not being a fan of Roguelikes this was a stellar and phenomenal game to ease me into that genre as a whole. It provides a constant and steadily rising tide of strategy and survival as you try to endure for as long as you're able. The different selectable classes suit a myriad of different playstyles and make subsequent playthroughs brilliantly engaging.

I'll be the first to admit, this isn't everyone's kind of game.

But for myself, harkening back to the halcyon era of N64 and PS1 of low poly visuals were a major selling point for me. The game is chock full of fun and interesting designs for a myriad cast of characters who are fun to engage with. There's a nice comfy atmosphere that's as carefree as the denizens of the island.

Gameplay itself is pretty standard and easy to follow.

For a dollar you really can't go wrong.
