(THIS ISN'T FALLOUT OR METRO. THIS IS THE MOST DEPRESSING SIMULATOR OUT THERE)
This isn't a game, It is more of a tool for demonstration and the cost is worth it. I see people complaining that there isn't enough “Game-play”, but this isn't a game. This, to its core, Is the darkest simulation that humanity can run.

People complain that there isn't anything to do but to read the death counts and see the fallout maps or fire spread, but really, what should be added after the ICBMs fly? What else is there to say? How can we map or even know the aftermath of the downfall of the whole earth? This game isn't Fallout or Metro. This is OUR real world. The death counts you see could be you, me, your pets, friends, or family.

Some say 30$ is too much, but stop for a moment. The developers had to find the yields of every type of nuke, the maximum range of every type of missile used, and where exactly every airfield, ICBM silo, mobile launcher and naval base is or would be to put them into several different handmade scenarios (most vanilla scenarios are logical and most probable some, however, are massively hypothetical and are added as what-if scenarios), the populations of every major urban center, finding using and modelling the math formulas and study papers on how nuclear winter works. The math behind fallout protection and fire spread as well as a million other things. Then had to put all that in a game and model it all accurately.

This shouldn't have a mixed rating, but I honestly do not know if this is the platform for this. While obtaining as wide of an audience as possible for this is of the utmost urgency. this should be put in front of the proper fields of people (I.E universities) so this tool or concept doesn't go to waste. Because I could imagine professors, Emergency Management Directors, Military Authorities etc., Using a fully developed version of this to great success.
