So before you read the rest of this know that i still recommend this game, however i need to compare it for others who haven't played this, or the game it is effectively very similar to: BPM (Bullets Per Minute)

I still prefer BPM to this game due to the following reasons:
-REALLY short mission set, as you can see it took me between 3-4 hours to go through the whole thing
-Virtually no replayability, which highlights the game length even harder
-While the music in Hellsinger is better the audio mixing is worse, everything else by default drowns out the music
-BPM REQUIRES you to play to the beat, this game does not; it just makes you do less damage
-While the graphics are better (VASTLY) to BPM things tend to get hard to make out in the middle of battle
-Less weapon variety, there are a grand total of two permanent weapons you hold and two you can choose from a pool of four, while BPM has 20
-Both games have the same amount of bosses but BPM's are more varied in appearance and abilities

At the end of the day i'd still re-buy and play both games, but if you are looking for value for money in GAMEPLAY go for BPM, if you just want a really good music set that happens to have a game then buy this.

Perfect way to sum up this game: Promise an open world-ish game, then force encounters into tighter and tighter spaces until you have to deal with two hunters in something the size of a broom closet. Every encounter feels like a chore, the second half of the game ditches the open world and goes back to linear halo.

Early Access Review
So, coming from playing warband i love this game with all of it's additions, my gripe with it is the glitches and bugs (as most new games have plenty of), the big one for me is the memory leak, can only play 2-3 battles (or 25 minutes) at a time before the game bricks itself and i have to fire it up again, so save frequently.
