Just bought it and i think this is a great helicopter sim game, realy like how they did the rain flying birds and the distance blurr. this game got alot of bad rep but in the state its now and for the price they ask for it id say its a bargain. Btw played the first five missions without a joystick just keyboard and mouse and it worked great.

Did you have a horrible experience with mission 6 located in the first region?
The "cursed" one with the fire near the observatory...
I am quite convinced that there is an intermittent glitch with the software.
Could you please share your observations, on that most probably bugged mission?
I am progressing smoothly in the other area, "Tourists caught in forest fire."
Besides both Thrustmaster's I also own a Force 3 D.
I haven't tried it yet, because the Logitech F310 is awesome.
I do know that flying a Helicopter without a proper joystick, is not as immersive.
But this thing is very precise with control inputs.
Have you finished the "game"?

ok thx ive got the logitec 3d pro stick though ;)

I would strongly suggest you trying a Logitech Gamepad F310.
The factory presets are tailor made for HSRS.
My Joysticks were sort of problematic.
I wrote about that subject in the discussions, and even did a "small" review about this great game (except mission 6...).
