Great rhythm game, takes a second to get used to the perspective, but enjoyable.

Feels like the original game with a new twist.

This game is not ad free. I was already on the fence with the high price point and limited reasons for purchase (A simple removal of the energy system does not seem enough. This really pushes me over though.

Even if an ad is a simple click to remove, it's still annoying, it's still generating more money for the company, and it's still a lie that you guys advertise the game as "ad free". I can understand the high price point to an extent (AI licenses are pricy after all), but everything else I've seem leaves little to be desired. Now, you can't even remove ads? Why.

I'm not sure if I just missed it the first few times I booted it up or if you guys waited two weeks to add the ads back in so that steam users could not refund it, but it certainly is a scumbag move to keep ads in an "ad free" game.

This purchase is only worth it to someone who is okay playing on the free language model but wants to play the game 24/7. Even with that, I would tell you to try a different alternative to AI Dungeon or to at least wait for a massive sale because this isn't worth it. I can only hope that my refund goes through in time, but I suspect it will not.

Edit: My refund went through, I would highly suggest that anyone else disappointed in this product attempt a refund as well.

I genuinely enjoy this game. The community is friendly, the devs are active, the game is fun.

The mechanics are familiar, but not stale. Anyone playing Hearthstone or M:TG can learn the game pretty much instantly but it has a few quirks that keep the game fresh, such as factions and different card keywords.

Admittedly, the game is in early access so the card selection is not extremely wide nor is the game hyper-polished, but I'm really excited to see where this game goes and I will be introducing as many friends as I can to help it gain the ground it needs.

Love this program, you've gotta be careful when you purchase it if you don't want to spend too much money; but its a much much better program in my opinion than roll20 or similar.

CS:GO Review
Uhhhh. Steam, I paid $20 for this. Please reward or otherwise refund the game..... It doesn't take a genius to realize that not doing so is a stupid dumb idiot move for stupid dumb idiots.

Most people's first impression is that this game is a visual novel with an investigation mechanic hammered in, it was definitely my first impression. Then I noticed the developer, Hanako Games, also made Long Live the Queen (another excellent game that fuses strange mechanics with dating sims) this alone was enough to make me buy it on impulse.

On startup, I was immediately impressed with the game. You run the student council at a prestigious all girls school. The store page labels it as a yuri dating sim, but so far I haven't seen much of that. What you should be paying attention to is the brilliant investigation mechanics. Each day of the week you assign each of your "minions" to do something, be it interrogate another student, investigate a location, search for an item, etc etc. These encounters play through much like a tabletop RPG or board game since they are all decided with a die roll and stat bonuses.

All of the cases are randomly generated. This includes the perpetrator and even the people in cases, meaning you'll never have the same case twice. On rare occasions, cases will even solve themselves, some might think this is kind of a dumb thing to have, but I like it. logically, a school can't have that many mysteries without some of them just being coincidences, and the game can get very tight with time even with these self solving cases

The plot was interesting with many paths to follow, but my favorite part so far has been the introduction of a traitor. One of your minions will occasionally fail on purpose and in general try to stop you, but you have no idea which minion this is and you are put on a clock to find them or risk losing the game entirely.

All in all, I found the game to be very well done, I'd highly recommend it.

Melody's Escape is a really good Procedurally generated rhythm game, especially for those looking for a challenge. my only complain is that it is nearly unplayable if your pc is unable to run it, granted thats how i feel most rhythm games should be.

Spent a 5 minute walk behind an island just to find a sign that said "Why are you here?"

My character yelled "I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GOOOOOO" at it.

Met a Radio Engineer who had no idea how he was alive after a shark attack took his head and replaced it with a giant bloody hook.

Also met a Talking Crate who served no purpose.

My character screamed for him to wait so she could ask what was inside.

He said "It's a secret."

Got permission from the Mayor to take a bloody, handless, corpse out of his dumpster so I could turn it into biofuel, but first I had to take a polygraph test from a girl who graduated from the Schoolege.

She wanted to know if I scraped leftovers off my shirt and ate them.

I told her "Yes".

...

Then I said my memory couldn't be trusted.

She failed me that time.

10/10 Would play again.
