A very, very fun game right from the get go. Of course, the difficulty factors in well. It isnt frustrating, it's just hard. I still havent beaten the boss because of the wave of drone and ion sodemy. Ive played the game for nearly a year on and off, and being a fairly competent gamer, I feel this game has earned it's right to beat me. It uses fair combat, and a distinct lack of unbalaced ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Every time that I die, it's due to my own error.

That aside, the modding capabilities for this game are as endless as the game itself.
