Despite the grindy feel this game can have sometimes, it is a great game that definitely gives you the gratification of when you get higher tier items and weapon mods.

First off, the trigger warning is well deserved. Secondly, spoilers, I know that Sayori's emotions had been extremified (probably not a word but oh well), but I honestly relate to this a lot. I find it difficult to get up some mornings, only getting out of bed because my mom (who thankfully cares about me) gets me out of bed, and is essentially my main character. To get back on topic, depression is no joke. To this day I still struggle with it, and honeslty I don't think i'll ever be happy in my (what I percieve as) miserable existence.
Otherwise, this is the first visual novel game i've ever played through, and I would give it a well deserved 10/10.
You can definetly get attatched to characters.
Came because of the memes, left respecting it for its contents. Don't judge a book by its cover.

A very true tale of someone with depression. Seeing as I have depression myself I can relate to feeling like a burden to a lot of people and i've even had the "just tough it out" motherly cheering, which really didn't help at all with my problem. In the story(Spoiler) if I actually chose to keep a kitten, I would love a little cute companion to just kinda be around me. The choices that were marked out always seemed like a 'tease' just to add. Overall, if you're dealing with depression or want to find out what it's like, i'd deffinately reccomend playing this game.
