The Culling: An amazing game absolutely ruined by one of the most incompetent, greedy dev teams In Existance.

When the Xaviant first released the game, it was fantastic. Yes, there were a few balancing issues and plenty of bugs, but the core gameplay experience was absolutely fantastic. Slowly, month after month, Xaviant's policy of 'Fix what isn't broke' make the game worse and worse. They tried to cater to everyone without having even a simple understanding of what Game Design actually was. The game was absolutely destroyed, Xaviant released a cash-grab on Xbox, and abandoned the project. Their excuse? "Battle Roayle games like POTG and Fortnite have saturated the market". Lo and behold, months later they release the Culling 2, a PUBG CLONE that will go down as one of the worst games in history. With no other choice, they promised to release the Culling 1 as F2P, reverting the combat to what everyone loved.

Now, the game is just a complete crock of absolute ♥♥♥♥. ALL the same bugs that were wrong with the game 2 years ago are still very much a problem. And quite a few new ones too. The combat has been reworked again, to something absolutely NOBODY asked for, changing it from the simplistic rock-paper-scissors style to a complete hodgepodge mess. This causes the skill floor to be raised considerably, while only barely raising the cieling. Everything stuns you, so you must make your playstyle revolve around the basic core to be viable against the veterans. It is so noob-unfriendly, that not even the Tutorial has been updated to match the basic gameplay: It flat-out lies to you instead. I could go into detail, listing every bug, every fault, every concept that people hate, but I would have to spend hours typing everything out.

This is just speculation, but because the core idea of the game is so amazing and great, it's why the game gets so much as ANY positivity. People want to enjoy the Culling because it's such a phenomenal idea. But those people aren't going to keep playing. The game is just so insanely unbalanced, there is nothing it does right. People who have learned the raw numbers of the game will completely dominate those who haven't. There is a reason that .5% of people ever win a game, and that's because about .1% of people win 95% of games.

And just to pre-empt the people who are going to call me sour for losing, because lets face it, this is the internet.

Is my winrate actually 48%? No. I have far far more games than 199. But I also have more wins than 96. This just means Xaviant can't even do stat tracking right.

People want exactly one thing: The Original Culling experience with the Original Culling Combat, but Xaviant is too incompetent, Stupid, or Proud to deliver that, and it ruins the game.
