Better than Postal 3

One of the best shoot 'em ups I've ever played. The pacing of the game is fantastic, as whenever I was getting even slightly bored with a mechanic, a new one is swiftly introduced. While some of the boss fights are pretty good, the last one stands out as the pinnacle of the game, as it not only tests the player's mastery of the game, but it does it in such a way that it just feels downright satisfying.

The only real negative I can think about this game is the story, but even that fits well with the goofy tone of the game. The creators seem to know this as it doesn't take itself too seriously (I mean, it's a game about a talking banana after all), and it serves as a nice thin string to connect the different parts of the game.

TLDR 10/10 game, worth a buy

If you call yourself a true fan of the FPS genre, you owe it to yourself to spend a day or so playing through Quake. You won't regret it

Absolutely amazing! One of the best parody and video game soundtracks ever. Each one feels appropriately Christmasy but also has hilarious lyrics. I'd definitely buy another as soon as it went up if it had content as high as the quality in this soundtrack, and this is coming from a person who rarely ever buys DLC unless if it's in a bundle, let alone game soundtracks!!!!

One of the few games where you are able to decide on so many choices that often have a very rewarding outcome, especially when it involves disobeying the narrator. These choices often revolve around video game cliches, and this game serves as an amazing commentary on the nature of video games. I'd totally recommend that you buy this, especially if it's on sale.

Overall, Gone Home is a fantastic game with quite an emotional story, however, this story is revealed through audio clips, notes, and other objects you find around the house. I definitely recommend this game to anyone that is patient, doesn't mind uncovering the story arc in this untraditional method, and who has a couple hours to spare, but if you were looking for a game with lots of content, you'll be sadly disappointed here. Also, I'd ONLY get this game when there's a big sale, as I personally don't think the price of admission is worth the whole $20.
