A memorable game for all the right reasons. A brutally difficult platformer and yet it never felt unfair or unearned. However, most notably, is that instead of the game attempting to cause you to rage in frustration, Celeste attempts to and succeeds in causing the opposite feeling for the player. Playing Celeste just simply makes you feel good in the best and plainest way possible. A true must play and imy favorite of any precision platformer I have ever played. 9.5/10

After only playing the Shovel Knight Campaign I cannot recommend this game enough. Game oozes flavor and kept pulling me back in for more. Shovel Knight is the perfect difficulty where you are never about to rage quit but beating each boss/level is extremely rewarding. A must play for 2D platformer fans. 9/10

A true pinnacle of the platforming genre this game is a delight to play with outstanding visuals and controls. The game progresses a perfect pace consistently introducing new areas and abilities which make the gameplay fresh and enjoyable throughout. A must play for all platformer enthusiast. 9.5/10

Is it like Limbo but worse. Well ya. Does that make the game bad? No. I consider this a solid addition to the puzzle platformer genre which is worth a playthrough. The atmosphere is well done, though the story could use a bit more depth. The controls are also at times too loose causing frustrations. However, even with these criticisms the puzzles prevent enough variety to make the game enjoyable. 8/10.

Tembo is an enjoyable platformer which I would classify as a mashup between DK country and the Shank Beat em' ups. The game had amazing potential but sadly three detractions prevents the game from reaching its ceiling. 1) The controls can be awkward, specifically the bounce which I wish simply wasn't included or was a different button. 2) The game becomes excessively challenging at the end in a way that becomes a grind without being fun 3) The life limit is a complete joke and has no purpose other than to cause unnecessary frustration (especially when trying to get all citizens or kill all phantoms).

Even with this said I would recommend Tembo but as a more casul playthrough. The frustrations caused while trying to do "well" in each stage aren't worth it. 7.5/10.

The game was solidly alright. I was expecting a puzzle platformer but both the puzzles and the platforming were far too easy for me to even classify it in that genre. I did enjoy the story and the initial characterization and was disappointing to not see it carried out further. If you are looking for a challenging game I would look elsewhere, however if you are looking to relax for a few hours without exerting much effort while enjoying a game this will do. 7/10.

A very solid precision platformer. Doesn't do anything amazingly well but does enough things well enough with enough variety between playable characters, enemy types, and level types, that it makes the game enjoyable for fans of the genre. 7.5/10

A decent puzzle platformer. For whatever reason I enjoyed the game less the more I progressed despite continual introduction of fluoros and mechanics. I think this is partially because some of the later levels were just too big, and thus too convoluted and additionally each puzzle only had one solution so if you missed a piece of equipment (which can be easily overlooked) you could be hopelessly working at a puzzle for a while. Beating the puzzles are rewarding, but I'd b surprised if many people could beat them all without ever using a guide to simply figure out what they did wrong (in contrast to say the Swapper where everything is right in your face and challenging). 7.5/10

An absolute masterpiece and one of the finest platformers I have ever played. Level design is amazing with a wealth of originality. Lastly, the game has almost an excess of content including many Origins levels, weekly challenges, and level invasions. From when i first played DK country years ago on the Super Nintendo, it was a game like this that truly shows the potential for the platforming genre. 9.5/10

I played through single player and co-op with two others. Game is a very fun beat em' up though I found it too easy with 3 people. Replay value is solid and something I wouldn't mind doing with friends once every 6 months. 7.5/10
