What makes Dredge work is the presentation. It's the art and atmosphere that are going to leave the best impression. The fishing and exploration are solid, and so is the story.

The loop is what feels off. Money and space are only tight in the beginning. It won't be long before you have more than you can spend. After that, things do kind of lose their punch. The exploration is fun, but it could use more settlements instead of just the merchant and the robe guys.

The game is still really neat. I plan on getting the DLC when it comes out.

This game is without any exaggeration, the best RPG i have ever played. The game masterfully combines survival and RPG. Harsh and Unforgiving, the game goes to great lengths to immerse the player in every aspect of surivial and exploration. Despite its vast open world game-play, the game still factors in an amazingly unique story. To those who enjoy RPGs, Survival, or Exploration games, i strongly recomend this game to you.
