Its like a dynamic evolution visual novel. Before it was on steam it wasn't as easy to play as this. But now with the addition of difficulty modes i can comfortably recommend it :D

Its simple, the visuals are great and it has a great atmosphere but the "lore" notes are badly written and the "voice acting" sounds like what i do in my own game (that is to say, not great but the dev clearly cared alot about their game) . 10/10 would reccomend.

Also it lives up to the name.

Gonna counter the hate. When people review things negatively in good faith its fine. But its quite clear that many of these reviews are in bad faith so. Here is my two cents.

First, the good,
This is a good evolution of the Bethesda formula, the character traits and starting background variety really sell the RP aspect of this game.
It isn't Daggerfall, but the massive planets dotted with caves are pretty fun to run around in.
Scanning things is addictive
The gameplay is like skyrim, so its obvious fun. Its simple, but fun.
The crafting is nice
The weird skills like "gastronomy" certainly add something.

The bad:
No mini maps in caves, fix this please
Some of my friends had some really bad performance issues
The books ive run into are all "ecerpts" this is a downgrade from skyrim and its ilk, where they are NOT excerpts they are full books.
The game is too easy, even on hard
Not enough recipe variety

Been playing for years outside of the steam version.
This is great. Toady is a great guy. Its good to support indie devs, especially those who have been developing games for nearly 20 years.

My only gripe is it didnt launch with adventure mode. Which is the mode that lets you actually explore the world and interact with the life sim elements more directly.

The best pizzeria tycoon game around! Lotsa fun! Man isn't it fun running my own pizzeria!

Other than a weird bug on the first mission where i got stuck in the level geometry this is great.

This game is amazing. It kinda inspired me to make my own turn based strategy game so , kudos to them. :)

This is a great game, its a sort of grand strategy manipulation game.

Its a great game, when i played it a few months back.
I haven't played it more recently, but the dev's proclivity towards accepting when people ask for more direct control of units (which removes the uniqueness of the game, which i bought because it was like Majesty) worries me.
