one of my favorite hobbies is going to various thrift stores and even going on ebay/yahoo auctions and such sites to find obscure releases that havent been archived much or at all so i can purchase them and let them collect dust. i rarely listen to them i just love owning this stuff to possibly take them out of the hands of real collectors and people who would upload them also to contribute to the scarcity and piss people off. while the music itself may not be of interest to anyone, i have two rare shellac records from 1908 that i havent seen on the internet anywhere and i havent listened to them, uploaded them, or put them on discogs and never will. dont worry though i have listened to some of these releases (to flex them on my scrobbles) and a few of them are really good. its so insane how some bands never make it, but oh well, they may not live on through their music but they'll live on as my cup coasters haha. god i love being white
